COACH
Coach Sebastian started CrossFit in 2016 when he needed a new outlet for training and competing after high school sports. He played football and ran track and trained hard in the weight room on the off-season to prepare for those. CrossFit filled the gap that the end of high school sports left him with. He also enlisted in the Army Reserve after high school. CrossFit’s methodology of “unknown and unknowable” seemed to be the best way to stay ready for anything the Army threw his way.
He got his CrossFit Level 1 in November of 2017 and started coaching in 2019. He also has a Bachelors in Health, Human Performance, and Recreation.
Coach Sebastian loves CrossFit because he has witnessed it change countless lives for the better and bring together people into a community unlike any other. The beauty of CrossFit is that there are many skills that people get the opportunity to learn and it’s a constant process of improving. Much like life, it’s more about the journey than the destination.
Coach Sebastian loves coaching at Redemption Fitness because every member truly cares about one another in and out of the gym. Everyone here wants to see each other thrive in life! He feels blessed to have the opportunity to develop our members into better athletes every day.
His favorite movement is the infamous BURPEE. Simple but spicy.

COACH
Coach Taylor has a background in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading and has always tried to maintain her active lifestyle. However, in January of 2020, after trying a few different fitness programs, she signed up to try CrossFit in hopes of switching up her routine and building muscle. All it took was one class for her to decide to focus solely on CrossFit because it included everything she loved doing: running, gymnastics, weight training, etc. She also loved that CrossFit wasn’t a routine, but a community and a lifestyle that maintained and helped build her fitness without feeling like a chore. She decided to become a coach in February of 2021 because she wanted to help introduce others to the numerous benefits that CrossFit has to offer. ANYONE can be a CrossFitter, and that is what Taylor loves about it the most. Taylor’s favorite CrossFit WOD is Annie, but she also loves working on the Olympic lifts.
